Synopsis: Join Appleton, on a quest to consume the legendary Omega Apple. Navigate moderately easy levels, collect apples to satisfy his hunger, and avoid the untastly bananas he can’t stand.
Description: AppleChaser is a 2D platformer game where players guide Appleton on his quest to find the legendary Omega Apple. I designed and implemented the levels, player mechanics, and interactive elements such as trampolines, falling platforms, and collectible apples, while also using and editing the various sound effects and pixel art within the game. This project was my first complete game built in Unity, combining tutorials with my own creative additions to experiment with gameplay mechanics and level design. It served as an important stepping stone in my development as a game designer, laying the foundation for more complex projects and helping me explore systems like scoring, saving, and the possibility for multiple endings.
