Description: Evil Queen was an animation project designed to synchronize visuals tightly with music, while showcasing a range of animation techniques including metamorphosis, keyframe animation, and rotoscoping. We chose the song "I'm the Bad Guy" from Wander Over Yonder, drawn by its musical style and active / evil energy. I was primarily responsible for specific segments: the first 30 seconds and a 10-second section from 40s to 50s. My role spanned pre-production, production, and post-production, giving me the opportunity to experiment with timing, pacing, and scene composition. The project challenged me to merge musicality with visual storytelling, and my favorite sequence was the prison break scene featuring the robin and LEGO robber lookalikes, where I applied multiple animation techniques to enhance the rhythm and comedic effect. Although there are aspects I would improve with current knowledge, this remains a great project.
