Description: This project was developed with the objective of creating an interactive installation using a 3D environment in Max that reacted to the movements of thew visitors and any sounds tehy might make. The concept draws inspiration from Plato's allegory of the men stuck in a cave, where they can only see shadows of the real world, and their reality is made of that fake image.

While the original idea was meant to show how a person can be tricked into perceiving a different reality and be blinded to it, the project evolved the theorem: the people "inside the cave" affect what they see. Depending on how deep within the cave they are, they dive further into the dream, losing themselves in the shadows, representing how some people lose their sense of reality and live only in a dream world, but their interactions with the scenario also become more radical, since in your dreams, your feelings affect you more then in the outside world. Conversely, the further away from the cave, the more one returns to reality, but too much distance can leave one without dreams or a perspective of the future, in a reality were even you feelings are ignored and have no affect within the world.

The final objective is to show that people should live within the middling reality, were dreams are real and feelings mater, but they also shouldn't take over your life.
