Synopsis: In 2025, Earth is doomed by the sun’s expansion. Nando://42, a robot from a failed mission series, must detonate Earth’s core to prevent a catastrophic solar flare. Players guide him through Earth’s remnants, facing multiple endings based on the items they pick up.

Description: This project was my first full 3D game creation, where I explored not only programming but also game design on a much larger scale than before. The game’s foundation relied on isometric puzzle mechanics, environmental storytelling, and branching narratives based on player decisions. My responsibilities included designing levels, integrating the main character’s animations, and coordinating with the team to implement interactive elements like turrets, hazards, and collectibles. The development process posed several challenges. Adapting to Unity and C# for 3D gameplay required me to quickly learn new workflows, especially for handling physics, animations, and camera controls. Additionally, balancing team contributions was difficult.

I particularly enjoyed designing the different possible endings, each reflecting unique player choices and providing replayability. The neutral ending, where the robot sacrifices itself, added emotional depth, while the good and bad endings reinforced the consequences of decisions. Overall, the game is fairly linear, and the player’s choices for reaching each ending are relatively straightforward. However, this experience was essential for my growth as a game developer, marking the point where I began creating larger and more complex games.
