Description:OverWorked was created for ESMAD's annual Game Jam, held post exam season. The theme focused on following a melody while integrating essential Game Jam information, such as date, duration, and location, into the animation. My role involved the creation of the "Tetris" and "Super Mario" scenes, and the assembling, editing and polishing all parts of the project, ensuring smooth flow and cohesion between the scenes. This was my first experience working on someone else's After Effects project, which taught me the importance of establishing clear file organization guidelines and workflow standards.
I particularly enjoyed combining the "Matrix" inspired sequences with the "Super Mario" inspired sections, giving the project a unique visual identity. The computer mouse animation presented some challenges, but overcoming them helped me improve my animation and post-production skills. Overall, the project taught me valuable lessons about teamwork, problem-solving, and handling complex animations in limited time, laying the foundation for more ambitious and complex projects in the future.
