Description:Inspired by the Portuguese adaptation of The Ant and the Grasshopper tale, this project reimagines the story through two posters and a Behance showcase. One poster adopts a comic-book style, while the other presents a minimalist scene of the cicada requesting food from the ant.
The Behance project explored a “Romeo and Juliet” narrative, portraying the cicada serenading the ant queen, with GIF animations blending humanized and insect perspectives. I also developed concept items like figurines and tote bags to extend the story into merchandise.
This project allowed me to explore creative freedom fully. I refined my artistic style, experimented with animation, and expanded my design process. Despite minor issues with the Behance slider loading slowly, the experience strengthened my visual storytelling and project presentation skills.
